Testing energy-aware scheduling at Pawsey
Hardware arrives at the Pawsey Supercomputing Research Centre, where we validate energy-aware scheduling on real supercomputing hardware.
🎄 Christmas has come early at Project Ohm 🎄
Super excited to be out at the CSIRO Pawsey Supercomputing Research Centre (opens in a new tab) this week to see the hardware arrive for our R&D pilot study.
With a big thanks to XENON Systems (opens in a new tab) for their support!
This marks a key execution milestone - transitioning from architecture and partnerships into live, physical deployment within a Tier-1 national research facility.
Our systems will be racked over the coming weeks, enabling hands-on validation of our energy-aware orchestration stack in a real HPC environment. A tangible step forward as we move from concept to demonstrated capability.
We’ll be calling the rack just under this 'apparent wormhole' home for the next phase of testing. 🌀
Big thanks to the Pawsey team for the support.
